This course will differentiate the different gluten related disorders including celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, and gluten intolerance and the best ways to diagnose and treat these conditions. Topics will include:
- What is gluten and prolamins.
- Difference between whole and refined grains.
- Celiac disease and gluten sensitivity.
- Zonulin and its role on leaky gut and its relation to gluten.
- Causes of increased gluten related disorders.
- Proper gluten-free dieting.
Patients who do not seem to improve through Chiropractic may be suffering from gluten sensitivity. This seminar will provide the clinician the tools to determine if a gluten-free approach is needed to be added to their care plan.
