Radiology of Spondylolisthesis – Credit Hours: 1Clinical

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with the information regarding the radiographic diagnosis and evaluation of spinal spondylolisthesis including application of advanced imaging modalities. Topics include:

  • Discussion of the radiographic diagnosis and evaluation of spinal spondylolisthesis
  • Identification of the different types of spondylolistheses
  • The application of advanced imaging modalities
  • How to identify Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) using radiological examples.

Radiology Rounds: Reducing X-ray Anxiety – Credit Hours: 1Clinical

This course is instructed by Marshall Deltoff DC, DACBR, FCCR, on of the premier Chiropractic radiologists of our time. Dr. Deltoff was selected to assist Yochum, T. & Rowe, L. in the final editorial process of textbook: “Essentials of Skeletal Radiology”.  Topics he will cover include:

  • Developing an understanding of basic xray interpretation through a radiology rounds environment. Application of the 12-step approach to film interpretation to a variety of radiologic cases, in an informal, rounds format.
  • C.A.T.B.I.T.E.S – Congenital, Arthritis, Tumor, Blood, Infection, Trauma, Endocrine, Soft Tissue
  • Discussion of different types of cancers seen on Xray and their featured appearances.
  • Lower extremity, pelvis, and lumbar spine cases covered.
  • Upper extremity, thoracic, and cervical spine cases covered.
  • Children and adolescent cases covered.

This course will remove any anxiety that comes with x-ray interpretation and will give you the confidence to know when a radiological referral may be needed!

Sexual Boundaries – Credit Hours: 2Risk Management

The purpose of this course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with the knowledge of ethics and sexual boundaries with their patients and staff. Case studies and laws relating to understanding and avoiding ethical and sexual boundaries issues in the Chiropractic setting will be used. The following topics will be covered:

Spinal Stenosis Radiology – Credit Hours: 1Clinical

Dr. Marshall Deltoff authors and narrates this course on the radiological approach to spinal stenosis.  Dr. Deltoff has a diplomate in clinical radiology and assisted Drs. Yochum and Rowe in editing the final editorial process of textbook: “Essentials of Skeletal Radiology”.  The purpose of this course 1 hour course is to aid the Chiropractic Profession by providing Chiropractors with the information regarding the radiographic diagnosis and evaluation of spinal stenosis, including application of advanced imaging modalities. Topics will include discussion of the radiographic diagnosis and evaluation of spinal stenosis, spinal stenosis etiologies including osteoarthritis, and the application of advanced imaging modalities.
